Where the unit goes

Most units go on private ground: the end of a driveway, a parking-lot space, a gravel pad or inside a fenced site. The truck needs firm access within hose reach.

In the street, on a sidewalk or in an alley? That needs a city right-of-way permit first. See permits.

FAQs

Common questions

What customers asked us this year, from calls and order notes.

How fast can you deliver a porta potty?

About 51% of our Charlotte-area orders in the last year were delivered within a day of booking. Most job sites get their unit the next business day. For an event on a fixed date, book a few days out.

How does billing work?

Job-site rentals bill in 28-day cycles at your quoted rate, and you keep the unit as long as you need it. Net 30 terms are available for qualified contractor accounts. Delivery, taxes and any extra service are listed on your quote.

How many porta potties does my job site need?

OSHA requires 1 toilet for up to 20 workers. We plan on 1 toilet per 10 workers on a 40-hour week with weekly service, and add a hand wash station once you pass about 20 workers.

How do I schedule a pickup?

Call us at (980) 326-5220 with the date you want it gone and we put it on the schedule. If a pickup is missed, we contact the hauler the same business day.

Can I put a porta potty on my driveway?

Yes. The end of the driveway is one of the most common spots. The truck needs to reach it from your own drive, never a neighbor's, and on firm, level ground. Tell us about trees, soft yards and septic lines when you order.

How far ahead should I book for an event?

Half of our Charlotte-area orders are booked 1 day or less before delivery, and a quarter are booked 4 or more days out. For weekends in November, May and October and big weekends like Coca-Cola 600 race weekend, book two weeks ahead.

Do I need a permit for a porta potty?

Not on private property. A unit in a traffic lane, sidewalk or planting strip needs a CDOT Right-of-Way Use Permit through the Cityworks portal. CDOT reviews within 72 hours. Call CDOT at (704) 336-4119 with questions.

Do porta potties work in winter?

Yes. We treat units with antifreeze in winter so they keep working through freezing nights.

Do you service on weekends?

Yes. Weekend service is available for an extra charge. The price is on your quote.
